Let’s say you’re doing field work at an archeological site and it begins to rain hard, but you have to get down your description of that fossilized jaw bone you’ve just uncovered before you can run for cover. Or let’s say you're the construction manager on an Eco-resort in Chile, or a special forces operative…. You get the idea. With these pressurized refills you can literally write upside down and up against a wall. We tested these on a 3 x 5 card that had been submerged in 85 degree water before putting it up against a wall. It worked. When we tried the same test with other refills we got only scratches on paper. It’s not a bad idea to have one of your pens in your pack loaded with this all-terrain refill. When you need it, you need it. Made in Germany; equivalent to Schmidt ballpoint refills.
